Daily life on Bluewaters centres on Ain Dubai and The Wharf, a waterfront retail and dining strip of more than 130 outlets next to the wheel. Residents cross the pedestrian bridge to reach JBR on foot, or use abra boats that connect the island to JBR and Dubai Marina in about 10 minutes; the island itself has no metro or tram station.
