Dubai Creek Harbour

Dubai Creek Harbour is an Emaar waterfront masterplan on the banks of Dubai Creek, next to the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary and about a 10-minute drive from Dubai Festival City, Business Bay and Downtown Dubai. Its most developed part, the Island District, holds the bulk of completed residential towers (Dubai Creek Residences, Creek Horizon, Harbour Views, Creek Edge, The Grand, Creekside 18, Address Harbour Point) around a waterfront promenade and marina.

Strengths

  • Mediclinic Creek Harbour, a multi-speciality clinic, operates inside the community.
  • A direct RTA ferry links Dubai Creek Harbour Marine Transport Station to Al Jaddaf, about 9 minutes each way.
  • Waterfront promenade and marina on Dubai Creek, facing the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary and its flamingo colony.
  • About a 10-minute drive from Dubai Festival City, Business Bay and Downtown Dubai.

Limitations

  • No metro station inside the district yet: the nearest is Creek metro station (Green Line) in Al Jaddaf, reached by the RTA ferry or by road. A dedicated Blue Line station is planned but its opening is not expected before 2029.
  • No full K-12 school operates inside the district yet; only nursery branches (Maple Bear, Blossom) are on site, and families use schools in Al Jaddaf, Festival City, Al Garhoud, Oud Metha or Sobha Hartland, roughly 10 to 15 minutes away.
  • Dubai Creek Tower, the masterplan's landmark centrepiece, remains under redesign with its construction tender delayed as of mid-2026.

Lifestyle

Life in the Island District centres on the waterfront promenade and marina, used for walking and cafes rather than shopping, with views across Dubai Creek toward the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary and its flamingo colony. Mediclinic Creek Harbour and nursery branches (Maple Bear, Blossom) operate inside residential towers, but the district has no full K-12 school and no metro station of its own yet, so daily life still leans on a short drive to Al Jaddaf, Festival City or Business Bay.

Transport

There is no metro station inside Dubai Creek Harbour yet. A direct RTA ferry connects Dubai Creek Harbour Marine Transport Station to Al Jaddaf Marine Transport Station, about 9 minutes each way, running roughly every 30 minutes on weekday schedules (7:30-10:50am and 4:00-10:50pm) for AED 2 per trip; from there, Creek metro station (Green Line) is the nearest existing station. A dedicated Dubai Creek Harbour station is planned on the future Blue Line, expected to open by 9 September 2029 according to the RTA. By road, the district sits along Ras Al Khor Road (E44) and Nadd Al Hamar Road (D62), about a 10-minute drive from Dubai Festival City, Business Bay and Downtown Dubai.

Schools

No full K-12 school operates inside Dubai Creek Harbour itself. Nursery branches inside residential towers include Maple Bear Nursery (Harbour Views 2) and Blossom Nursery (Creek Gate), both following the British EYFS framework; families with school-age children typically use schools in Al Jaddaf, Festival City, Al Garhoud, Oud Metha, or North London Collegiate School in Sobha Hartland, about a 15-minute drive away.

Healthcare

Mediclinic Creek Harbour operates a multi-speciality clinic inside the community, covering family medicine, paediatrics, dermatology, and obstetrics and gynaecology.
