Motor City

Motor City is built around Dubai Autodrome, a motorsport, karting and entertainment venue at the centre of the community, master-planned by Union Properties. The community is split into three parts: Uptown Motor City, mostly low and mid-rise apartment buildings (studio to 4-bedroom) centred on the First Avenue plaza with cafes, nurseries and retail on the ground floors; Green Community Motor City, a gated cluster of villas and townhouses (3 to 5 bedroom) set around a lake; and Business Park Motor City.

Motor City has direct road access to Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and Al Qudra Road. There is no metro station within the community; the nearest is Mall of the Emirates on the Red Line, about a 15-minute drive, and the F37 feeder bus connects Motor City to that station, also stopping in Dubai Sports City along the way.

GEMS Metropole School - Motor City offers the National Curriculum for England from Foundation Stage to Year 13. Nurseries in the community include Emirates British Nursery, Jebel Ali Village Nursery Motor City and Building Blocks Nursery, all following the British EYFS curriculum.

Medcare Medical Centre Motor City, at The Ribbon Mall, is a multi-specialty clinic with around 13 doctors covering dentistry, dermatology, ENT, family medicine, gastroenterology, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, orthopaedics, paediatrics and physiotherapy. Prime Medical Center and Medicentres also operate clinics in the community.

Motor City is a freehold area, master-planned by Union Properties, open to foreign buyers under the same national framework as Dubai's other freehold areas (Law No. 7 of 2006 and Regulation No. 3 of 2006): a buyer of any nationality can hold full title to the unit and register it with the Dubai Land Department. Union Properties reports a substantial unlaunched pipeline in the master development, so buyers should check each project's own handover date.
